Tammy Bayer, CD(DONA), LCCE, Owner, is a certified birth doula through DONA International, postpartum doula, and is the Iowa State Representative for the organization. She is a certified childbirth educator with Lamaze. Tammy is on the board of the EIDA (Eastern Iowa Doula Association). She is a volunteer doula for Operation Special Delivery, an organization that provides doulas for pregnant women whose husbands or partners will be deployed at the time that they are due to give birth. Tammy has been working with pregnant and birthing women since the birth of her daughter in 2003. Prior to that she was a special education teacher. Tammy enjoys using her teaching background to educate women about their birthing options. She is available to speak to groups about a wide variety of pregnancy, birthing and parenting topics.
